Online Weight Loss Scams
Scams regarding weight loss on the Internet is everywhere. One of the reasons why i created this page, was weight loss scams. I found it shocking to see page after page selling some miracle e-book or some super diet pills.
In my experience:
"there is no super pill or diet that will cure you of obesity, - yet!
Kevin Trudeau's Weight Loss Cure
A similar sounding web site to www.weight-loss-cure.net is Kevin Trudeau's Weight Loss Cure. Kevin has written 3 books to my knowledge and he's marketing them heavily on the Internet. To be honest, I have not bought any of the books, therefore not tried the miracle cure. I have read a lot of reviews and at just one site a majority of the articles are negative.
The book is being marketed under false pretense, I mean the Kevin forgets to mention that you have to get injections of a questionable drug that not legal and the only place you can buy it, is his business partner. (so I've read). On top of that, most of the book is good advice from magazines So in my opinion, it's a scam. If you consider buying Kevin books, do you self a favor, and read some of the user reviews of the book, remember to at least subtract 90% of the good reviews, its pretty easy to fake a good review, it just takes a little time and effort.
KimKins
Another example is KimKins, a huge web site with lots of members. The site was started in 2000, and in the media gotten very bad reviews. KimKins are selling life time membership for $60, and I have to agree with this review; If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Conclusion
The point with the above is this; If you want to join something like KimKins, read a lot of reviews made by USERS of the site, and remember lots of the positive reviews are properly made by the site owners them self. Personally, if i should join something, it would be weight watchers, but that is rather expensive, on the other hand, you get something for your money.
